Old & New Testament The Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible are both inspired by God. The Old Testament focuses primarily on the History of the Isrealite people and the teachings of the Prophets. The New Testament focuses on the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The New Testament also contains the ministry of the Apostles, and many epistles written by the Apostles. Many people find it easier to understand the teachings of the New Testament because of its more simplistic language, but both Testaments are great tools to coming to know God more fully.
